JUSTIFIED BY FOUR THINGS

(The Pauline Doctrine of Justification in the Dispensation of Grace)

INTRODUCTION — WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE JUSTIFIED?

To be justified means to be declared righteous by God.
In the Dispensation of Grace, justification is not earned, not maintained by works, and not threatened by failure—it is God’s finished work in Christ, revealed through the Apostle Paul.

Romans 3:28 — “Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.”
This message explains how God justifies sinners today—clearly, completely, and eternally.

GRACE — THE SOURCE OF JUSTIFICATION
Romans 3:24; Ephesians 2:8

A. Free Grace – Justification is given, not deserved
B. Full Grace – Nothing added, nothing lacking
C. Final Grace – God’s verdict never reversed
Dispensational Insight:
Grace originates justification—law never could.

FAITH — THE MEANS OF JUSTIFICATION
Romans 5:1; Galatians 2:16

A. Faith Alone – Trust, not effort
B. Faith Applied – Personally received
C. Faith Assured – Peace with God secured
Dispensational Insight:
Faith is the channel—not the cause—of justification.

BLOOD — THE BASIS OF JUSTIFICATION
Romans 5:9; Ephesians 1:7

A. Shed Blood – Payment for sin
B. Sufficient Blood – Fully satisfies God
C. Saving Blood – Delivers from wrath
Dispensational Insight:
Without blood, there is no justification—Christ’s blood is enough.

RESURRECTION — THE PROOF OF JUSTIFICATION
Romans 4:25; 1 Corinthians 15:17

A. Debt Paid – Resurrection proves acceptance
B. Death Defeated – Sin’s penalty removed
C. Declaration Confirmed – God said “It is enough”
Dispensational Insight:
The resurrection is heaven’s receipt.

LAW — THE ENEMY OF JUSTIFICATION

A. Law Condemns – Reveals guilt
B. Law Cannot Save – No flesh justified
C. Law Concluded – Ended in Christ

Law exposes sin; grace removes it.

CHRIST — THE CENTER OF JUSTIFICATION

A. Christ’s Righteousness – Credited to believers
B. Christ’s Work – Complete and finished
C. Christ’s Standing – Our standing before God
Dispensational Insight:
We are justified in Christ, not in ourselves.

DECLARATION — THE NATURE OF JUSTIFICATION

A. Legal Declaration – Courtroom verdict
B. Once-for-All – Never repeated
C. No Condemnation – Case closed forever
Dispensational Insight:
Justification is judicial, not progressive.

SECURITY — THE RESULT OF JUSTIFICATION
Romans 5:1–2; Colossians 2:10

A. Peace With God – War ended
B. Position Complete – Nothing missing
C. Permanence Assured – No reversal
Dispensational Insight:
If justification can be lost, it was never biblical.

WALK — THE RESPONSE TO JUSTIFICATION
Romans 12:1; Titus 3:8

A. Gratitude Motivated – Love, not fear
B. Grace-Filled Living – Empowered obedience
C. God-Glorifying Walk – Fruit, not root
Dispensational Insight:
Good works follow justification—they never produce it.

CONCLUSION — A FOUR-FOLD FOUNDATION

We are justified:
By God’s GRACE (the source)
By our FAITH (the means)
By Jesus’ BLOOD (the basis)
By His RESURRECTION (the proof)

Romans 8:30 — “Whom he justified, them he also glorified.”

Stop striving
Stop fearing condemnation
Stop adding works
Start resting in Christ’s finished work

Believe, rejoice, and live from your justified position.
