Living Now in Light of Forever (Grace Age Truth)

INTRODUCTION

Scripture teaches that life on earth is brief, burdened, and breaking down, while eternity is boundless, blessed, and glorious. In the dispensation of the grace of God (Eph. 3:2), believers are called to live today with tomorrow in view, anchored in Christ’s finished work and the promise of glory.

How we live in time reveals what we believe about eternity.

① TEMPORAL — Brief Time vs. Boundless Time

A. Passing Moment – Life appears briefly and vanishes
B. Permanent Morning – Eternity knows no night

Grace teaches us to number our days wisely.

② TAINTED — Sin Now vs. Sinless Then

A. Present Pollution – Sin affects all creation
B. Promised Purity – Nothing defiling enters eternity
C. Perfected People – Saints fully sanctified
Grace saves us now and perfects us then.

③ TRIALS — Suffering Here vs. Serenity There

A. Inevitable Trouble – Pain marks this fallen world
B. Incomparable Comfort – God wipes all tears
C. Infinite Joy – Sorrow forever removed
Grace sustains us through suffering with hope.

④ TERMINAL — Finite Bodies vs. Forever Bodies
