𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗣𝗔𝗨𝗟 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗚𝗢𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗟 𝗢𝗙 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧 “𝗠𝗬 𝗚𝗢𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗟”?

𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗣𝗔𝗨𝗟 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗚𝗢𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗟 𝗢𝗙 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧 “𝗠𝗬 𝗚𝗢𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗟”?

𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Many believers today confuse the Gospel of the Kingdom preached to Israel with the Gospel of the Grace of God committed to Paul. Paul uniquely calls it “my gospel” (Romans 16:25) because it was a special revelation given to him directly from the risen Christ. To understand why, we must rightly divide the Word and recognize the distinction between Israel’s program and the Body of Christ.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Christ’s Appearance – Paul met the risen Lord (Acts 9).

Christ’s Authority – The message came by direct revelation.

Christ’s Appointment – Paul was chosen as apostle to the Gentiles.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗹

Different Message – Not law-keeping, but grace.

Distinct Ministry – Not Israel’s kingdom, but the Body of Christ.

Divine Mystery – Hidden in God until revealed to Paul.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗹

Salvation Offered – Eternal life through Christ alone.

Separation Ordered – Distinct from Israel’s covenants.

Sanctification Outlined – Believers walk in newness of life.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹

Model of Grace – Paul, chief of sinners, saved by mercy (1 Tim. 1:16).

Messenger of Grace – Preached justification apart from works.

Minister of Grace – Dispensed truth to the Gentiles.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀

Central Message – Christ crucified, buried, and risen (1 Cor. 15:1–4).

Complete Payment – No more sacrifices required.

Continual Proclamation – The cross is the power of God to salvation.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Victory Secured – Death defeated by Christ’s rising.

Validation Supplied – Resurrection proves justification.

Vocation Strengthened – Believers walk in resurrection power.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿

Crucified with Christ – Old man put to death.

Created in Christ – New creature in the Body.

Complete in Christ – Lacking nothing in salvation.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲

Forgiveness Freely Given – No more condemnation.

Fellowship Firmly Secured – Access to God by one Spirit.

Future Fully Assured – Blessed hope of His appearing.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆

Revealed Truth – Hidden wisdom now made known.

Right Division – Distinguishing Israel and the Church.

Rich Doctrine – Mystery of Christ and His Body.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗹

Hatred from Jews – Opposition from religious tradition.

Hostility from Gentiles – World opposed to the cross.

Hardship for Paul – Sufferings for the sake of truth.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲

Written Epistles – Doctrine preserved in Scripture.

Witnessed Example – Paul’s life models grace living.

Word of God Rightly Divided – Guarding the deposit of truth.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Gospel Declared – Salvation by grace through faith alone.

Grace Dispensed – Preaching reconciliation to the world.

Glory Directed – All praise to God through Jesus Christ.

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻

Paul called it “my gospel” not out of pride, but because it was personally revealed, uniquely distinct, and divinely entrusted to him for this present dispensation of grace. It is the good news for us today—salvation by grace through faith in the finished work of Christ, apart from the Law, apart from Israel’s program.

𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Believe – Trust the gospel of grace, not works.
Behold – Study Paul’s epistles and rightly divide.
Broadcast – Proclaim “my gospel” to a lost world.

𝗧𝗼 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝘄𝗲 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹’𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗹 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
