WHO HOLDS YOUR LOYALTY?
Pastor-Centered Allegiance vs Christ-Centered Devotion
Key Text: 1 Corinthians 1:12β13; Colossians 2:6β8
Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth β 2 Timothy 2:15
INTRODUCTION
In every generation, believers face a subtle dangerβnot open heresy, but misplaced loyalty.
God never commanded believers to be loyal to personalities, pulpits, or platforms. He commanded us to be loyal to Christ and His Wordβespecially as revealed to us through the Apostle Paul in this Dispensation of Grace (Ephesians 3:2).
This message is not anti-pastorβit is anti-idolatry.
Pastors are helpers, not masters of faith (2 Corinthians 1:24).
Today we will examine NINE PAULINE CONTRASTS that reveal where true loyalty belongs.

A. Man-Centered Following β βI am of Paulβ¦ Apollosβ¦β

B. Walking in Christ β Personal relationship
C. Second-Hand Faith β vs Rooted, grounded faith
Christ calls believers to walk in Him, not behind men.
CONCLUSION
Pastors may guide.
Teachers may help.
But only Christ died for you.
Loyalty to a pastor without loyalty to truth becomes spiritual bondage.
Loyalty to Christ produces liberty, assurance, and growth.
CALL TO ACTION
Search the Scriptures daily (Acts 17:11)
Rightly divide Godβs Word (2 Timothy 2:15)
Follow Christ above all (Colossians 2:6)
Stand fast in grace (Galatians 5:1)
Choose Christ over charisma.
