𝗪𝗛𝗢 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗦?

𝗪𝗛𝗢 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗦?

(Galatians 1:6–9)

𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Paul, the apostle of the Gentiles, strongly warns the Galatians that any man or angel preaching another gospel than what he received is accursed. In this dispensation of grace, the gospel is clear: “How Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again” (1 Cor. 15:1–4). Yet false preachers corrupt this simplicity with law, rituals, or works. To discern them, we must measure their message by Paul’s gospel.

𝗔𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗿𝘂𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲

Distorting the Gospel – Adding works to faith.

Deceiving the Gullible – Preying on the ignorant.

Departing from Grace – Returning to the Law.

𝗔𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗶𝘁 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆

Pretending Apostleship – Claiming power not given.

Perverting Authority – Misusing Scripture.

Promoting Another Program – Mixing Israel’s kingdom with grace.

𝗔𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗱

Blending Law with Liberty – Telling saints to keep Moses’ law.

Binding Saints with Burdens – Creating fear and guilt.

Blinding Souls with Lies – Obscuring the finished work of Christ.

𝗔𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲

Greedy for Gold – Using the pulpit for profit.

Grasping for Glory – Seeking praise of men.

Grieving God’s Grace – Making merchandise of souls.

𝗔𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲

Minimizing the Cross – Avoiding Christ crucified.

Magnifying Themselves – Centering on man’s effort.

Misrepresenting the Savior – Presenting “another Jesus.”

𝗔𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Applying Israel’s Law – Teaching sabbaths, tithes, and circumcision.

Assuming Israel’s Promises – Claiming kingdom blessings.

Altering Paul’s Pattern – Ignoring the mystery revelation.

𝗔𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗿𝘂𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗶𝘅𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲

Law plus Grace – Mixing covenants.

Faith plus Works – Denying justification by faith.

Christ plus Church Ordinances – Baptism or rituals for salvation.

𝗔𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Fear-Based Preaching – Scaring people into submission.

Flesh-Based Programs – Entertainment instead of edification.

False-Based Promises – Prosperity instead of truth.

𝗔𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲

Preaching Kingdom Gospel – For Israel, not the Body.

Promoting Pentecostal Signs – For Jews, not for today.

Proclaiming Prophecy Alone – Ignoring the mystery revealed.

𝗔𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆

Pleasing the People – Fear of rejection.

Protecting their Position – Holding tradition.

Pushing Political Agendas – Instead of Paul’s gospel.

𝗔𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗲𝘁

Exalting Human Wisdom – Philosophy over revelation.

Elevating Human Works – Boasting in fleshly efforts.

Eliminating Humble Worship – Pride replaces submission.

𝗔𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Persisting in Error – Rejecting correction.

Perpetuating Apostasy – Training others in lies.

Provoking God’s Anger – Bringing judgment upon themselves.

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻

Accursed preachers are not just misguided—they are dangerous. They corrupt, counterfeit, and compromise the gospel of Christ given to Paul for this dispensation. Their followers remain blinded and bound, unless someone rightly divides the Word of truth. True preaching must magnify the cross, exalt Christ, and proclaim salvation by grace through faith alone.

Discern Up – Test every preacher by Paul’s gospel.
Doctrine Up – Study to rightly divide the Word.
Declare Up – Boldly warn against false teachers and share the true gospel.
