WHEN LOYALTY TO LEADERS REPLACES LOYALTY TO THE WORD OF GOD

INTRODUCTION

In the Dispensation of Grace, God’s final authority for the believer is the written Word of God rightly divided, not church leaders, movements, traditions, or personalities. When allegiance shifts from Scripture to men, spiritual danger follows. The Bible warns that misplaced trust leads to bondage, deception, and corruption. This message exposes why leader-centered loyalty produces cult-like systems instead of Christ-centered faith.

MISPLACED TRUST
Trusting men above God invites spiritual ruin.

Human Confidence – Flesh leans on visible authority (Jeremiah 17:5).

CONCLUSION

A church that demands greater loyalty to leaders than to Scripture has already departed from biblical Christianity. In the Dispensation of Grace, Christ alone is Head, Paul alone is our apostle, and the Word alone is our authority. Anything less opens the door to spiritual bondage and deception.
