𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗜𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗚𝗢𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗟 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗗𝗢𝗠?

𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗜𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗚𝗢𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗟 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗗𝗢𝗠?

𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Jesus spoke Matthew 24 during His earthly ministry, addressing Israel about the end times. This “gospel of the kingdom” is not the same as Paul’s “gospel of the grace of God.”

Gospel of the Kingdom = Good news that Messiah will set up His earthly kingdom (Matt. 4:23).

Gospel of Grace = Good news of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection for all (1 Cor. 15:1–4).

Confusing the two produces doctrinal error. Let’s examine this verse in light of dispensational truth.

** 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗜𝗠𝗘𝗗 𝗠𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗔𝗚𝗘

The message is “the gospel of the kingdom.”

It is not Paul’s gospel of grace but Israel’s message of a coming King and kingdom (Matt. 10:7).

Dispensational insight: This is prophecy, not the present mystery.

** 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗠𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗔𝗛

The focus of the kingdom gospel is that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God (John 20:31).

Israel must believe in their Messiah for the kingdom to be established.

Dispensational insight: Today we preach Christ crucified and risen, not simply Christ as King.

** 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗛𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗖 𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡

The message will be declared “in all the world.”

This fulfills Old Testament prophecies of worldwide testimony (Isa. 11:9).

Dispensational insight: This universal witness belongs to Israel’s program, not the Body of Christ’s commission.

** 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗥𝗙𝗨𝗟 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗬

In the tribulation, the 144,000 sealed of Israel (Rev. 7:3–8) will preach this message.

Supernatural protection will enable their worldwide ministry.

Dispensational insight: This is distinct from Paul’s Spirit-baptized Body of Christ.

** 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗘𝗖𝗨𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗠𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗥𝗦

Those preaching the kingdom gospel will face intense opposition (Matt. 24:9).

Martyrdom will be common, but their testimony will stand.

Dispensational insight: This is tribulation suffering, not the present age of grace.

** 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗛𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗖 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗢𝗙

Jesus says, “then shall the end come.”

The worldwide preaching of the kingdom gospel is a sign of the end.

Dispensational insight: We today “walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Cor. 5:7); we do not look for signs.

** 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗥 𝗣𝗘𝗢𝗣𝗟𝗘

The kingdom gospel belongs to Israel’s program.

Gentiles will be blessed through Israel’s rise (Isa. 60:1–3).

Dispensational insight: The Body of Christ has no nationality distinctions.

** 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

Many churches today wrongly claim Matthew 24:14 as their mission.

They mix the kingdom gospel with Paul’s gospel of grace, creating confusion.

Dispensational insight: Our commission is found in Paul’s epistles, not in Israel’s kingdom program.

** 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗔𝗨𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗠𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗔𝗚𝗘

Paul preached the mystery: salvation by grace through faith apart from the law (Eph. 3:1–9).

Today’s gospel is Christ’s finished work on the cross (1 Cor. 15:1–4).

Dispensational insight: The Body of Christ must preach the gospel of grace, not the gospel of the kingdom.

𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡

Matthew 24:14 is not about us today—it is about Israel in the future tribulation. The kingdom gospel will be preached as a witness before Christ returns to establish His kingdom.

For us today: We preach Paul’s gospel of grace, offering salvation freely to Jew and Gentile alike. Mixing the two gospels destroys clarity and robs believers of assurance.

𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗧𝗢 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

Discern the difference between prophecy and mystery.

Divide the Word rightly (2 Tim. 2:15).

Defend the gospel of grace against false mixtures.

Declare Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection as the only hope today.

Detach from Israel’s program—recognize our distinct calling.

Draw near to Scripture for clarity, not tradition.

Devote yourself to Paul’s pattern for the Church.

Deliver the gospel of grace boldly in this age.

Depend on Christ alone, not signs or Israel’s promises.
