WALKING WITH JESUS

“As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:”

INTRODUCTION

Many confuse walking with Jesus with religion, rituals, or reforming the flesh.
But rightly divided Scripture reveals that our walk flows from our position, not our performance.

In this Dispensation of Grace, believers are:
Already accepted (Ephesians 1:6)
Already complete (Colossians 2:10)
Already seated in Christ (Ephesians 2:6)

Today, we will see WHAT IT MEANS TO WALK WITH JESUS—PAULINE STYLE.

POSITIONED IN CHRIST
Ephesians 2:6

A. Placed by Grace – Our standing is God’s work, not ours
Romans 5:1
B. Perfected in Christ – No condemnation remains
Romans 8:1
C. Permanently Accepted – Sealed unto redemption
Ephesians 1:13
Dispensational Truth:
We don’t walk to get saved—we walk because we are saved.

PROCEEDING BY FAITH

A. Trusting Christ’s Finished Work – Not self-effort

B. Taught by Grace – Not law

C. Transformed by Belief – Renewed thinking

Walking is faith-driven, not fear-driven.

PURGED FROM WORLDLINESS

Walking with Jesus is freedom, not force.

PURPOSED FOR GOOD WORKS

A. Prepared by God – Before we ever walked

B. Performed by Grace – Not merit

C. Profitable to Others – Ministry of edification

Works are the fruit—not the root—of salvation.

PERSEVERING WITH PATIENCE

A. Enduring Trials – With hope

We walk looking UP—not going THROUGH the Tribulation.

PRESSING TOWARD THE PRIZE

Our walk ends in glory, not judgment.

CONCLUSION

Walking with Jesus in this age is not religious performance—
It is daily living out a heavenly position.
We leave the world behind
We change by renewed thinking
We follow Christ forward in grace
Romans 6:4
“That like as Christ was raised up from the dead… even so we also should walk in newness of life.”

CALL TO ACTION

Walk in who you ARE, not who you were
Stand fast in grace, not law
Live with eternity in view, not earthly pressure
Rightly divide. Rest in grace. Walk with Christ.
