Every time a person opens the Bible, they approach it with a motive.
Some open it to receive light; others to reinforce lies.
Some let the Scripture speak for itself; others force Scripture to speak for them.
In the Dispensational View, God commands us to โ€œrightly divide the word of truthโ€ (2 Timothy 2:15). That means we must let Scripture interpret Scripture, especially according to the dispensations of God โ€” not according to our feelings or traditions.
This message challenges us to examine:
Are we reading the Bible to discover truth, or to defend our bias?

A. Truth Comes from Revelation, Not Reasoning
John 17:17 โ€” โ€œThy word is truth.โ€
Truth doesnโ€™t originate from manโ€™s mind; itโ€™s revealed from Godโ€™s Word.
B. Truth is Rooted in Scripture, Not Speculation
Psalm 119:160 โ€” โ€œThy word is true from the beginning.โ€
Every word of God is pure and preserved.
C. Truth is Recognized by the Spirit, Not by the Senses
1 Corinthians 2:13โ€“14 โ€” โ€œThe natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God.โ€
True understanding requires the indwelling Spirit โ€” not human intellect.
Dispensational Truth: In every dispensation, Godโ€™s truth must be revealed โ€” not reasoned. Today, that truth is revealed through the Gospel of the Grace of God (Acts 20:24).

A. Twisting the Scriptures
2 Peter 3:16 โ€” โ€œThey wrest... the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.โ€
Men force verses to support their system instead of submitting to Scriptureโ€™s structure.
B. Teaching for Tradition
Mark 7:9 โ€” โ€œFull well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.โ€
Religion prefers manโ€™s doctrine over Godโ€™s revelation.
C. Trading Grace for Gain
2 Corinthians 2:17 โ€” โ€œWe are not as many, which corrupt the word of God.โ€
Gospel perverters modify the message to make it marketable.
Dispensational Truth: Mixing Israelโ€™s program (Law and Kingdom) with the Churchโ€™s program (Grace and Mystery) is the greatest Scriptural corruption of our time.

A. They Study the Word
Acts 17:11 โ€” โ€œThey received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily.โ€
Truth seekers donโ€™t rely on preachers alone; they test all by the Book.
B. They Stand in Grace
Romans 5:2 โ€” โ€œBy whom also we have access by faith into this grace.โ€
Standing in grace helps believers discern truth from works-based deception.
C. They Separate Error
Romans 16:17 โ€” โ€œMark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine.โ€
Loving truth means leaving error.
Dispensational Truth: The true Berean believer rightly divides โ€” knowing Paulโ€™s message for the Body of Christ distinct from the apostlesโ€™ to Israel.

A. Preach Without Compromise
2 Timothy 4:2 โ€” โ€œPreach the word... reprove, rebuke, exhort.โ€
Truth must not be tailored to please ears but to pierce hearts.
B. Preach the Cross Clearly
1 Corinthians 1:18 โ€” โ€œThe preaching of the cross... is the power of God.โ€
The central truth today is the finished work of Christ โ€” not law, miracles, or religion.
C. Preach the Mystery Faithfully
Ephesians 3:8โ€“9 โ€” โ€œTo make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery.โ€
The preacher of truth must reveal what was hidden in past ages but now revealed through Paul.
Dispensational Truth: True preaching today proclaims the Gospel of Grace, not the Gospel of the Kingdom โ€” for the Church, not for Israel.

A. They Profess but Donโ€™t Possess
2 Timothy 3:5 โ€” โ€œHaving a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof.โ€
Religion creates appearance, not assurance.
B. They Promote Themselves, Not the Savior
Galatians 6:13 โ€” โ€œThey desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.โ€
They love the stage, not the Savior.
C. They Pervert the Scriptures
Galatians 1:7 โ€” โ€œThere be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.โ€
They twist Paulโ€™s message of grace into a mixture of works and rituals.
Dispensational Truth: False teachers thrive by confusing Israelโ€™s prophetic promises with the Churchโ€™s present possession.

A. By the Scriptures
2 Timothy 3:16 โ€” โ€œAll scripture is given by inspiration of God.โ€
The best defense against deception is Scripture itself.
B. By Separation
2 Corinthians 6:17 โ€” โ€œCome out from among them, and be ye separate.โ€
You canโ€™t preserve truth while walking with those who pollute it.
C. By Standing Firm
Ephesians 6:14 โ€” โ€œStand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth.โ€
The believer must wear truth as armor in this age of apostasy.
Dispensational Truth: Godโ€™s truth is preserved through those who stand on Pauline doctrine, not popular religion.

A. Reward for Faithfulness
2 Timothy 4:7โ€“8 โ€” โ€œI have fought a good fight... henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness.โ€
Truth may be costly, but its crown is eternal.
B. Rejoicing at the Rapture
1 Thessalonians 4:16โ€“17 โ€” โ€œSo shall we ever be with the Lord.โ€
Those who love truth long for His appearing, not worldly applause.
C. Recognition by the Redeemer
1 Corinthians 3:14 โ€” โ€œIf any manโ€™s work abide... he shall receive a reward.โ€
God honors faithful defenders of truth, not famous deceivers.
Dispensational Truth: The Judgment Seat of Christ will reveal who stood for truth in the age of grace โ€” and who compromised for crowd approval.

Many today read the Bible for validation, not illumination.
They want Scripture to agree with them instead of letting it correct them.
But God blesses those who read the Bible dispensationally, doctrinally, and devotionally โ€” letting the Word speak for itself.
If you seek truth, expect rejection; but if you seek validation, expect deception.
Better to stand alone with truth than to sit together in error.

STAND for Truth โ€” Even when itโ€™s unpopular (Ephesians 6:13).
STUDY the Word โ€” Rightly divide and rightly apply (2 Timothy 2:15).
SPEAK Boldly โ€” Declare Paulโ€™s Gospel of Grace clearly (2 Corinthians 5:18โ€“20).
> โ€œLet God be true, but every man a liar.โ€ โ€” Romans 3:4
