Salvation is instant, but spiritual growth is progressive. Just as a child develops in stages, so does a believer in Christ. Paul often rebuked churches for staying carnal (1 Cor. 3:1โ3), urging them instead to grow up into Christ (Eph. 4:15). Dispensational truth reminds us that maturity comes by rightly dividing the Word (2 Tim. 2:15), walking in grace, and being established in Paulโs gospel.

It begins with trusting Christโs finished work (1 Cor. 15:1โ4). Without this foundation, no growth is possible.

A new believer learns to separate from sin and worldly patterns (2 Cor. 6:17), focusing on holy living.

Growth requires daily intake of the Word of God (2 Tim. 3:16โ17). Feeding on milk first, then meat.

Developing a consistent prayer life rooted in grace, not law, (Phil. 4:6).

Progressive holiness through the Spiritโs work (1 Thess. 4:3), walking differently from the world.

Using spiritual gifts and opportunities to edify the Body of Christ (1 Cor. 12:7).

True maturity requires willingness to give up self, time, and comfort for the gospel (Phil. 3:7โ8).

Becoming unmovable in doctrine, not tossed about with every wind of teaching (Eph. 4:14).

Recognizing trials refine maturity (2 Tim. 3:12, Rom. 5:3โ4). Suffering strengthens character.

A mature believer boldly proclaims the mystery of the gospel (Eph. 6:19โ20).

Reaching maturity means being firmly rooted in Christ, built up and established in faith (Col. 2:7).

Spiritual maturity is a process, not a one-time event. Each stage builds on the other until we are established, strengthened, and settled in Christ. Godโs desire is not just to save us, but to grow us into faithful, fruitful, and firm saints.

๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐ง๐ต๐ผ๐๐ด๐ต๐:
The measure of true maturity is not knowledge alone, but Christlikeness in action (Eph. 4:13). Which stage are you in todayโand are you pressing forward to grow in grace?
