We now live in an age where many churches have replaced doctrine with drama, Scripture with style, truth with trend, and the gospel with entertainment.

Many want the applause of the world, but they forget that God is not impressed by popularity โ€” He is pleased only by truth.

In the dispensation of grace, the Body of Christ is called to stand on sound doctrine (2 Timothy 4:3โ€“4), not cultural opinions.

When culture becomes the compass and Scripture becomes optional, a church stops standing for Christ โ€” and starts bowing to the spirit of the age.

This message exposes eight dangers of a trend-driven church.

A church that trades truth for trends may gain applause from the world,
BUT it loses the approval of God.

The Body of Christ is not called to be culturally relevant,
but biblically faithful.
Not trend-driven, but truth-driven.
Not man-pleasing, but Christ-honoring.

We stand with Christ only when we stand with sound doctrine.

Truth must be prioritized.

Churches must resist compromise.
Christ must be honored above all.
