𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗨𝗡𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗬𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗕𝗜𝗕𝗟𝗘

𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

When we open the Bible, we often carry with us denominational baggage, cultural assumptions, and church traditions. Yet Paul commands us to “rightly divide the word of truth” (2 Tim. 2:15). That means we must go through a process of unlearning — setting aside what man has taught, and embracing what God has revealed through Paul concerning the dispensation of grace.

𝗣𝗨𝗥𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗢𝗙 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗗 𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗔𝗦

𝘾𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙨 – Remove denominational filters that prevent us from seeing Scripture clearly.

𝘾𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 – Realize Israel’s promises are not ours; many misapply them today.

𝘾𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝘾𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮 – Hold to Paul’s gospel alone as the basis of truth (Rom. 16:25).

𝗣𝗨𝗧𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗬 𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗧 𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗘𝗦

𝙍𝙚𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙍𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙨 – Water baptism, Sabbath, and feast days belonged to Israel.

𝙍𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙍𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 – Tithing and law-keeping were never given to the Body of Christ.

𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 – Christ is our completeness apart from religious ordinances (Col. 2:10–17).

𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗛𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗖 𝗩𝗦. 𝗠𝗬𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗠𝗦

𝙎𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙨 – Distinguish prophecy (Israel) from mystery (Body of Christ).

𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙥𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙨 – Compare kingdom promises with heavenly blessings (Eph. 1:3).

𝙎𝙚𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 – Recognize Paul as steward of this present dispensation (Eph. 3:2).

𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗭𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗔𝗨𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗡

𝙁𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 – Paul is the pattern for believers today (1 Tim. 1:16).

𝙁𝙞𝙭𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝙤𝙘𝙪𝙨 – The 12 apostles preached kingdom hope; Paul preached grace hope.

𝙁𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙛𝙪𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙁𝙞𝙡𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 – Interpret all doctrines through Paul’s gospel of grace.

𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦 𝗕𝗬 𝗦𝗖𝗥𝗜𝗣𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘𝗦

𝙏𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 – Do not accept doctrines without checking the Word rightly divided.

𝙏𝙧𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 – Measure man’s customs against Paul’s epistles.

𝙏𝙧𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙧𝙪𝙩𝙝 – Rely only on inspired Scripture, not experiences or visions.

𝗣𝗘𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗬 𝗣𝗦𝗘𝗨𝗗𝗢-𝗗𝗢𝗖𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗦

𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙀𝙧𝙧𝙤𝙧𝙨 – Identify prosperity gospel, covenant theology, and lordship salvation.

𝙀𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙀𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙨 – Remove practices that add to grace, such as sacraments.

𝙀𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙀𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙨 – Keep only Paul’s gospel of grace as the foundation (1 Cor. 15:1–4).

𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗖𝗘𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

𝘼𝙘𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙡𝙚𝙙𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙜𝙚𝙨 – God revealed truth in stages, not all at once.

𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙙𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 – Understand Israel’s law and program ended with Paul’s revelation.

𝘼𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙥𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙮 – Not all Scripture is written to us, though all is for us (Rom. 15:4).

𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝙂𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙩𝙝 – Spiritual maturity takes time, just like the Bereans (Acts 17:11).

𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙂𝙪𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 – Help others unlearn error with grace, not arrogance.

𝙂𝙤𝙙𝙡𝙮 𝙂𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 – Build steadily on the foundation of Christ through Paul (1 Cor. 3:10–11).

𝗣𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗙𝗬𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦

𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 – Admit where past beliefs were wrong.

𝘾𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙨 – Let God’s Word renew our mind (Rom. 12:2).

𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 – Replace error with Pauline truth firmly rooted in Scripture.

𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗘𝗖𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙍𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣 – Expect rejection from traditional churches (Gal. 4:16).

𝙍𝙞𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙚 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙍𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨 – Family may misunderstand your stand for grace.

𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙍𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 – God strengthens us through His Word rightly divided.

𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗢𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗥 𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

𝙇𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙞𝙛𝙚 – Apply Pauline doctrine to everyday conduct (Phil. 1:27).

𝙇𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙧𝙙 – Live to please Christ, not men (Gal. 1:10).

𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙮 𝙇𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 – Let dispensational truth guide our decisions.

𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗔𝗨𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

𝘿𝙚𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘿𝙤𝙘𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙚 – Boldly preach the Mystery revealed to Paul (Eph. 6:19).

𝘿𝙚𝙛𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 – Guard Pauline truth against distortion.

𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙨 – Teach others to rightly divide and walk in grace.

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻

The unlearning process is not about throwing away the Bible—it’s about learning to handle it God’s way. By letting go of traditions, rituals, and misinterpretations, and by embracing Paul’s gospel of grace, we can walk in maturity, clarity, and freedom.

𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Examine what you believe in light of Paul’s epistles.
Eliminate teachings not rooted in this dispensation of grace.
Embrace the Mystery and help others do the same.
