The Seven (7) Dispensations in the Bible
1. Innocence
(Genesis 1โ3)
Before the Fall โ Adam and Eve were innocent and had direct fellowship with God.
2. Conscience
(Genesis 4โ8)
After sin entered โ people lived according to their conscience, but sin multiplied.
3. Human Government
(Genesis 9โ11)
After the Flood โ God gave man the authority to govern and execute justice.
4. Promise
(Genesis 12โExodus 19)
God called Abraham and gave him promises, based on faith, not law.
5. Law
(Exodus 20โCross)
God gave the Law through Moses โ blessings for obedience, curses for disobedience.
6. Grace
(CrossโRapture)
The current dispensation revealed to Paul โ salvation by grace through faith in Christ, apart from works.
7. Kingdom (Future)
(Revelation 20)
When Christ returns and rules visibly in His 1,000-year Kingdom (the Millennium).
โข We are now under the Dispensation of Grace, not Law.
โข Paul is the apostle of this dispensation (Ephesians 3:2).
โข Rightly dividing means understanding that God's instructions under Moses (like Sabbath-keeping, sacrifices, etc.) do not apply today โ we follow Paul's gospel of grace.
