Confusion arises when people fail to rightly divide the Rapture of the Body of Christ from the 2nd Coming of Christ to Israel. The Rapture is a mystery truth revealed only to Paul (1 Cor. 15:51), while the 2nd Coming is a prophetic event foretold since the world began. Mixing these two creates false expectations and dangerous doctrines. Dispensationalism clears the fog by showing God’s distinct programs for the Body of Christ and Israel.

Rapture: Mystery program for the Body of Christ (Eph. 3:9).

2nd Coming: Prophecy program for Israel (Acts 3:21).

2nd Coming: Christ returns to the earth (Zech. 14:4).

2nd Coming: For Israel and the nations (Matt. 25:31–32).

2nd Coming: To judge nations and establish the Kingdom (Rev. 19:15–16).

Rapture: Comfort and blessed hope (Titus 2:13).

2nd Coming: Wrath, war, and woe (Rev. 19:17–21).

2nd Coming: Happens after the Tribulation (Matt. 24:29–30).

Rapture: Secret—never revealed before Paul (1 Cor. 15:51).

Rapture: Ends the Dispensation of Grace.

2nd Coming: Begins Christ’s Millennial Kingdom on earth.

The Rapture and the 2nd Coming are not the same. The Rapture is a heavenly hope for the Body of Christ, while the 2nd Coming is an earthly hope for Israel. Confusing the two robs believers of comfort and distorts God’s prophetic timeline. Right division safeguards the truth.

𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗧𝗢 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

Discern the difference between mystery and prophecy.
Detach from teachings that merge Israel’s promises with the Church.
Declare the blessed hope of the Rapture.
Defend the doctrine of pre-tribulation deliverance.
Devote yourself to watching and waiting for Christ.
Deliver comfort to fellow believers with this truth.
Deny fear and confusion caused by mixing programs.
Demonstrate your faith by living in expectancy.
Delight in the assurance of being caught up to glory!

The Rapture is our rescue; the 2nd Coming is His reign. Don’t confuse the comfort of grace with the terror of judgment!
