THE PATIENT PERSON -vs- THE QUICK-TEMPERED PERSON
(A Pauline Contrast for the Body of Christ)
Key Text: Proverbs 14:29 (KJV)
βHe that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.β
INTRODUCTION
In a fallen world full of pressure, injustice, and provocation, how we respond reveals who rules our heart. Scriptureβrightly dividedβshows that patience is not natural to the flesh, but a fruit of the Spirit produced in believers walking under grace (Galatians 5:22).
The quick-tempered person walks after the flesh.
The patient person walks after the Spirit.
Today, we will rightly divide this contrast and see how patience marks a believer living in the Dispensation of the Grace of God.
