THE FOUR HORSEMEN OF REVELATION

God’s Judgment Unleashed in the Tribulation Period
Revelation 6:1–8 (KJV)

INTRODUCTION

After the Rapture of the Church, God’s restraint is removed and the Tribulation Period begins.

The Lambβ€”Jesus Christβ€”opens the seals of judgment, releasing four horsemen that usher in deception, destruction, destitution, and devastation upon a Christ-rejecting world.

These are literal future judgments, not symbols of the Church Age.

THE WHITE HORSE OF DECEPTION
Revelation 6:1–2

A. A False Christ Appears
A counterfeit messiah rises (Matthew 24:5).
B. A Fraudulent Crown Given
Authority received, not earned (Daniel 9:27).
C. A Fascinating Conquest Begins
Victory without warfare (2 Thessalonians 2:3–4).
D. A Foolish World Deceived
Peace promised, truth denied (John 8:44).

This rider is Antichrist, not Jesus Christ.

THE RED HORSE OF DESTRUCTION
Revelation 6:3–4

A. Peace Removed from Earth
Global stability collapses (1 Thessalonians 5:3).
B. People Rise Against People
Civil unrest and war (Matthew 24:6–7).
C. Power Given to Kill
Authority to destroy (Ezekiel 38:21).
D. Planet Engulfed in Bloodshed
Unprecedented violence (Isaiah 19:2).

False peace always ends in bloodshed.

THE BLACK HORSE OF DESTITUTION
Revelation 6:5–6

A. Scarcity of Food
A day’s wage for a meal.
B. Scales of Rationing
Controlled survival (Ezekiel 4:16).
C. Selective Provision
Oil and wine untouchedβ€”inequality exposed.
D. Starving Multitudes
Famine spreads worldwide (Lamentations 4:9).

Economic judgment follows war.

THE PALE HORSE OF DEVASTATION
Revelation 6:7–8

A. Death Personified
Death rides forth openly.
B. Dominion Over the Earth
One-fourth of mankind destroyed.
C. Diverse Means of Destruction
Sword, hunger, disease, beasts.
D. Dreadful Finality
Hell follows behind (Hebrews 9:27).

Judgment is total, terrifying, and unavoidable.

CONCLUSION

The Four Horsemen reveal what happens when Grace is rejected and Christ is refused.
These judgments are future, literal, and certainβ€”but the Church will not be here.

β€œFor God hath not appointed us to wrath…”
β€” 1 Thessalonians 5:9 (KJV)
