𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗗𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗥 𝗢𝗙 𝗠𝗜𝗫𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗟𝗔𝗪 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗘

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗗𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗥 𝗢𝗙 𝗠𝗜𝗫𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗟𝗔𝗪 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗘

𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

The greatest confusion in Christendom today is the blending of Law and Grace. God gave Israel the Law through Moses, but He revealed Grace through Paul for the Body of Christ. To mix the two is to corrupt the gospel, confuse the believer, and compromise the truth.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗶𝘅𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗮𝘄 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲

Confuses the Covenant – The Law was given to Israel, not the Church (Romans 9:4).

Contradicts the Cross – If Law still saves, Christ died in vain (Galatians 2:21).

Corrupts the Commission – Israel’s kingdom program differs from the Body of Christ (Matthew 10:5–6).

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝘄

Reveals Sin – “By the law is the knowledge of sin” (Romans 3:20).

Restrains Self-righteousness – It proves all are guilty before God (Galatians 3:22).

Requires a Savior – It was a schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ (Galatians 3:24).

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲

Complete in Christ – Believers lack nothing in Him (Colossians 2:10).

Clean by the Cross – Justified freely by His grace (Romans 3:24).

Controlled by the Spirit – Not under law, but under grace (Romans 6:14).

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗺

Binds Believers – “Stand fast therefore in the liberty” (Galatians 5:1).

Builds Bondage – The law is a yoke no one could bear (Acts 15:10).

Breaks Blessings – If under law, grace ceases (Romans 11:6).

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

By Faith Alone – Abraham believed God (Romans 4:3).

By Christ Alone – “Being justified by his blood” (Romans 5:9).

By Grace Alone – “By grace are ye saved through faith” (Ephesians 2:8–9).

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹’𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴

Declares the Mystery – Hidden in ages past (Ephesians 3:3–6).

Distinguishes the Messages – Kingdom gospel vs. grace gospel (Galatians 2:7).

Directs the Members – Follow Paul as he follows Christ (1 Corinthians 11:1).

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗶𝘅𝗶𝗻𝗴

Tithes Instead of Grace Giving – (2 Corinthians 9:7).

Sabbath Instead of Liberty – (Colossians 2:16).

Circumcision Instead of New Creation – (Galatians 6:15).

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻

Another Gospel Condemned – (Galatians 1:8).

Accursed Preachers – (Galatians 1:9).

Adulterated Truth – (2 Corinthians 2:17).

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁

Redemption – Bought with His blood (Ephesians 1:7).

Reconciliation – Made near by His cross (Ephesians 2:16).

Righteousness – Made the righteousness of God in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21).

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀

Security – Sealed with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13).

Sufficiency – His grace is enough (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Salvation – Eternal life is assured (Titus 1:2).

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻

Clarifies the Gospel – Avoid confusion (2 Timothy 2:15).

Confirms the Truth – Scripture harmonized, not contradicted (Acts 17:11).

Corrects the Teacher – Rightly dividing the Word (2 Timothy 2:15).

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Study the Scriptures – Be grounded in Paul’s epistles (Romans 16:25).

Stand in Grace – Live in liberty, not law (Romans 5:2).

Shine for Christ – Display grace in conduct (Titus 2:11–12).

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻:

Mixing Law and Grace is spiritual poison. Israel was under Law, but the Body of Christ stands under Grace. To confuse the two is to cloud the gospel, contradict the cross, and corrupt the Christian walk.

𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:

Examine what gospel you follow.

Embrace Paul’s message of grace.

Exalt Christ alone for salvation and sanctification.

𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀:

If you live under the Law, you deny the finished work of Christ. If you live under Grace, you enjoy liberty, love, and life in Christ.
