SPIRITUAL MAN VS. CARNAL MAN

INTRODUCTION

Many believers are saved by grace, yet not all believers are spiritually mature. Paul clearly distinguishes between the Spiritual Man and the Carnal Man—not to question salvation, but to expose condition, conduct, and growth in the Christian life.

Carnality does not cancel salvation,
but it cripples spiritual effectiveness and reward.

Both the Spiritual Man and the Carnal Man are saved, but they live on two different planes:

God’s desire is not just that we be in Christ, but that Christ be formed in us.
