𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗔𝗞 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗜𝗡 𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗨𝗔𝗟 𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗙𝗔𝗥𝗘

𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗔𝗞 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗜𝗡 𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗨𝗔𝗟 𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗙𝗔𝗥𝗘

Ephesians 6:17; 2 Timothy 4:2; Galatians 4:16

“And take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” — Ephesians 6:17

“Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?” — Galatians 4:16

𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡:

We live in a time when truth is unpopular and silence is celebrated. Many fear offending others more than offending God.

But in this dispensation of grace, the Apostle Paul reminds us that we are soldiers (2 Tim. 2:3) — not entertainers.

Our weapon is the Word of God rightly divided, and our duty is to speak it boldly, even when it cuts deeply.
Truth may offend, but silence misleads.

So, let’s learn how to stand and speak with grace, courage, and conviction in these last days.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗗 — 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗥’𝗦 𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

Ephesians 6:10–13; 2 Timothy 2:3–4; Philippians 1:27

A. Empowered by Grace – “Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.” (Eph. 6:10)

We are not called to stand in fleshly strength but in spiritual empowerment.

B. Enlisted by God – “Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.” (2 Tim. 2:3)

We’re not volunteers — we’re drafted by divine commission.

C. Established by the Gospel – “Stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel.” (Phil. 1:27)

Our stand is grounded in Paul’s gospel, not in human opinions.

Dispensational Note: The believer’s battle today is spiritual, not physical — our warfare is against false doctrine, not flesh.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗚𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗔𝗞 — 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗥’𝗦 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

2 Timothy 4:2; Ephesians 4:15; Colossians 4:3–4

A. Preach the Word – “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season.” (2 Tim. 4:2)

Truth must be spoken whether it’s popular or not.

B. Proclaim in Love – “Speaking the truth in love.” (Eph. 4:15)

Boldness without love is brutality; love without truth is hypocrisy.

C. Pray for Opportunity – “That God would open unto us a door of utterance.” (Col. 4:3)

Speak as ambassadors, not arguers.

Dispensational Note: Today, the “Word” we preach is the Gospel of the Grace of God (Acts 20:24), not the kingdom gospel of Matthew 10.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗔𝗚𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗨𝗙𝗙𝗘𝗥 — 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗥’𝗦 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗘𝗖𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

Galatians 4:16; 2 Timothy 3:12; Philippians 1:29

A. Truth Offends the Carnal – “Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?” (Gal. 4:16)

Preaching the truth exposes the flesh.

B. Tribulation is Certain – “Yea, and all that will live godly… shall suffer persecution.” (2 Tim. 3:12)

Expect rejection — even from religious people.

C. Trials are Constructive – “Unto you it is given… to suffer for His sake.” (Phil. 1:29)

Suffering strengthens the soldier.

Dispensational Note: In the Grace age, persecution refines faith — it does not remove salvation or blessing.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗬 — 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗥’𝗦 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

2 Timothy 2:15; Acts 17:11; 2 Timothy 3:16–17

A. Study the Scriptures – “Rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Tim. 2:15)

Sound doctrine requires sound division.

B. Search the Scriptures – “They received the word… and searched the scriptures daily.” (Acts 17:11)

Truth must be examined, not assumed.

C. Stand on Scripture – “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God.” (2 Tim. 3:16)

We fight with divine revelation, not tradition.

Dispensational Note: “Rightly dividing” means recognizing the difference between Israel’s program and the Church, the Body of Christ.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗧 𝗜𝗡 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗘𝗖𝗛 — 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗥’𝗦 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

Colossians 4:6; Ephesians 4:29; 2 Timothy 2:24–25

A. Seasoned with Grace – “Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt.” (Col. 4:6)

Truth must be spoken with tact, not just force.

B. Sound in Doctrine – “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth.” (Eph. 4:29)

Speak truth that builds, not words that break.

C. Soft in Spirit – “In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves.” (2 Tim. 2:25)

A gentle tone can win a hardened heart.

Dispensational Note: Grace speech reflects the message we preach — not condemnation, but reconciliation (2 Cor. 5:19–20).

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗦𝗢𝗨𝗟𝗦 — 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗥’𝗦 𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡

Romans 9:1–3; 1 Corinthians 9:22; 2 Corinthians 5:14

A. Burden for the Lost – “I could wish myself accursed… for my brethren.” (Rom. 9:3)

Paul’s heart broke for unbelievers.

B. Become All Things – “I am made all things to all men.” (1 Cor. 9:22)

Adapt methods, never message.

C. Bound by Love – “The love of Christ constraineth us.” (2 Cor. 5:14)

Love fuels courage in truth-telling.

Dispensational Note: Our motivation isn’t fear of wrath — it’s love born of grace and Christ’s finished work.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗙𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗜𝗡 𝗦𝗖𝗥𝗜𝗣𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 — 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗥’𝗦 𝗣𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗥

Hebrews 4:12; Ephesians 6:17; 2 Thessalonians 2:13

A. The Sword is Sharp – “The word of God is quick, and powerful.” (Heb. 4:12)

It pierces where nothing else can.

B. The Spirit is Strong – “The sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” (Eph. 6:17)

Our power is not carnal but divine.

C. The Saints are Secure – “God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation.” (2 Thess. 2:13)

Truth defends and preserves believers.

Dispensational Note: The Word of God works effectually in those who believe (1 Thess. 2:13) — that’s the Spirit’s operation in the Body today.

𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡:

We are not called to whisper truth, but to wield it.
The Church today must not fear rejection — it must fear corruption through silence.
In this dispensation, truth divides, but it also delivers.
A silent saint is a defeated soldier.

𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗧𝗢 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡:

Speak Boldly — Don’t fear men’s offense; fear God’s silence.
Study Diligently — Rightly divide the Word to wield it well.
Stand Faithfully — Be a soldier who fights for truth, not for tradition.

“Preach the Word… for the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine.” — 2 Timothy 4:2–3

𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦

The Call to Stand – You’re enlisted by grace.
The Charge to Speak – Preach the truth with love.
The Courage to Suffer – Expect offense, not applause.
The Commission to Study – Rightly divide to fight rightly.
The Conduct in Speech – Speak with grace and gentleness.
The Compassion for Souls – Let love compel your message.
The Confidence in Scripture – Wield the Sword of the Spirit.

𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧:

In this Dispensation of Grace, silence is compromise — but truth, rightly divided, is victory.
