Ephesians 6:17; 2 Timothy 4:2; Galatians 4:16

โ€œAnd take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.โ€ โ€” Ephesians 6:17

โ€œAm I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?โ€ โ€” Galatians 4:16

๐—œ๐—ก๐—ง๐—ฅ๐—ข๐——๐—จ๐—–๐—ง๐—œ๐—ข๐—ก:

We live in a time when truth is unpopular and silence is celebrated. Many fear offending others more than offending God.

But in this dispensation of grace, the Apostle Paul reminds us that we are soldiers (2 Tim. 2:3) โ€” not entertainers.

Our weapon is the Word of God rightly divided, and our duty is to speak it boldly, even when it cuts deeply.
Truth may offend, but silence misleads.

So, letโ€™s learn how to stand and speak with grace, courage, and conviction in these last days.

Ephesians 6:10โ€“13; 2 Timothy 2:3โ€“4; Philippians 1:27

A. Empowered by Grace โ€“ โ€œBe strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.โ€ (Eph. 6:10)

We are not called to stand in fleshly strength but in spiritual empowerment.

B. Enlisted by God โ€“ โ€œThou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.โ€ (2 Tim. 2:3)

Weโ€™re not volunteers โ€” weโ€™re drafted by divine commission.

C. Established by the Gospel โ€“ โ€œStand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel.โ€ (Phil. 1:27)

Our stand is grounded in Paulโ€™s gospel, not in human opinions.

Dispensational Note: The believerโ€™s battle today is spiritual, not physical โ€” our warfare is against false doctrine, not flesh.

2 Timothy 4:2; Ephesians 4:15; Colossians 4:3โ€“4

A. Preach the Word โ€“ โ€œPreach the word; be instant in season, out of season.โ€ (2 Tim. 4:2)

Truth must be spoken whether itโ€™s popular or not.

B. Proclaim in Love โ€“ โ€œSpeaking the truth in love.โ€ (Eph. 4:15)

Boldness without love is brutality; love without truth is hypocrisy.

C. Pray for Opportunity โ€“ โ€œThat God would open unto us a door of utterance.โ€ (Col. 4:3)

Speak as ambassadors, not arguers.

Dispensational Note: Today, the โ€œWordโ€ we preach is the Gospel of the Grace of God (Acts 20:24), not the kingdom gospel of Matthew 10.

Galatians 4:16; 2 Timothy 3:12; Philippians 1:29

A. Truth Offends the Carnal โ€“ โ€œAm I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?โ€ (Gal. 4:16)

Preaching the truth exposes the flesh.

B. Tribulation is Certain โ€“ โ€œYea, and all that will live godlyโ€ฆ shall suffer persecution.โ€ (2 Tim. 3:12)

Expect rejection โ€” even from religious people.

C. Trials are Constructive โ€“ โ€œUnto you it is givenโ€ฆ to suffer for His sake.โ€ (Phil. 1:29)

Suffering strengthens the soldier.

Dispensational Note: In the Grace age, persecution refines faith โ€” it does not remove salvation or blessing.

2 Timothy 2:15; Acts 17:11; 2 Timothy 3:16โ€“17

A. Study the Scriptures โ€“ โ€œRightly dividing the word of truth.โ€ (2 Tim. 2:15)

Sound doctrine requires sound division.

B. Search the Scriptures โ€“ โ€œThey received the wordโ€ฆ and searched the scriptures daily.โ€ (Acts 17:11)

Truth must be examined, not assumed.

C. Stand on Scripture โ€“ โ€œAll Scripture is given by inspiration of God.โ€ (2 Tim. 3:16)

We fight with divine revelation, not tradition.

Dispensational Note: โ€œRightly dividingโ€ means recognizing the difference between Israelโ€™s program and the Church, the Body of Christ.

Colossians 4:6; Ephesians 4:29; 2 Timothy 2:24โ€“25

A. Seasoned with Grace โ€“ โ€œLet your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt.โ€ (Col. 4:6)

Truth must be spoken with tact, not just force.

B. Sound in Doctrine โ€“ โ€œLet no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth.โ€ (Eph. 4:29)

Speak truth that builds, not words that break.

C. Soft in Spirit โ€“ โ€œIn meekness instructing those that oppose themselves.โ€ (2 Tim. 2:25)

A gentle tone can win a hardened heart.

Dispensational Note: Grace speech reflects the message we preach โ€” not condemnation, but reconciliation (2 Cor. 5:19โ€“20).

Romans 9:1โ€“3; 1 Corinthians 9:22; 2 Corinthians 5:14

A. Burden for the Lost โ€“ โ€œI could wish myself accursedโ€ฆ for my brethren.โ€ (Rom. 9:3)

Paulโ€™s heart broke for unbelievers.

B. Become All Things โ€“ โ€œI am made all things to all men.โ€ (1 Cor. 9:22)

Adapt methods, never message.

C. Bound by Love โ€“ โ€œThe love of Christ constraineth us.โ€ (2 Cor. 5:14)

Love fuels courage in truth-telling.

Dispensational Note: Our motivation isnโ€™t fear of wrath โ€” itโ€™s love born of grace and Christโ€™s finished work.

Hebrews 4:12; Ephesians 6:17; 2 Thessalonians 2:13

A. The Sword is Sharp โ€“ โ€œThe word of God is quick, and powerful.โ€ (Heb. 4:12)

It pierces where nothing else can.

B. The Spirit is Strong โ€“ โ€œThe sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.โ€ (Eph. 6:17)

Our power is not carnal but divine.

C. The Saints are Secure โ€“ โ€œGod hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation.โ€ (2 Thess. 2:13)

Truth defends and preserves believers.

Dispensational Note: The Word of God works effectually in those who believe (1 Thess. 2:13) โ€” thatโ€™s the Spiritโ€™s operation in the Body today.

๐—–๐—ข๐—ก๐—–๐—Ÿ๐—จ๐—ฆ๐—œ๐—ข๐—ก:

We are not called to whisper truth, but to wield it.
The Church today must not fear rejection โ€” it must fear corruption through silence.
In this dispensation, truth divides, but it also delivers.
A silent saint is a defeated soldier.

Speak Boldly โ€” Donโ€™t fear menโ€™s offense; fear Godโ€™s silence.
Study Diligently โ€” Rightly divide the Word to wield it well.
Stand Faithfully โ€” Be a soldier who fights for truth, not for tradition.

โ€œPreach the Wordโ€ฆ for the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine.โ€ โ€” 2 Timothy 4:2โ€“3

The Courage to Suffer โ€“ Expect offense, not applause.
The Commission to Study โ€“ Rightly divide to fight rightly.
The Conduct in Speech โ€“ Speak with grace and gentleness.
The Compassion for Souls โ€“ Let love compel your message.
The Confidence in Scripture โ€“ Wield the Sword of the Spirit.
