𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗘 𝗕𝗜𝗕𝗟𝗘, 𝗗𝗜𝗙𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗠𝗦 — 𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗟𝗬 𝗗𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗗𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗗 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗧𝗛

𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗘 𝗕𝗜𝗕𝗟𝗘, 𝗗𝗜𝗙𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗠𝗦 — 𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗟𝗬 𝗗𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗗𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗗 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗧𝗛

𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

The Bible is one Book with one Author — God Himself — yet it contains different programs for different people in different dispensations. Confusion arises when men fail to rightly divide the Word of truth and mix Israel’s prophetic program with the Church’s mystery program.

Peter’s message in Acts 2:38 was to Israel — “Repent, and be baptized.”
Paul’s message in Romans 3:28 was to all men — “Believe, and be saved.”

Both are true in their proper contexts, but not in the same dispensation. The same Bible, yet two distinct programs, reveal God’s progressive plan of redemption and revelation.

POINT 1 — 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗠𝗦 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗧

(2 Timothy 2:15; Ephesians 3:2–9)

The first step to understanding the Bible is to rightly divide.

A. The People Differ — Israel is an earthly nation; the Body of Christ is a heavenly people. (1 Corinthians 10:32)
B. The Purpose Differs — Israel’s goal is the Kingdom on earth; the Church’s hope is heavenly places. (Ephesians 1:3)
C. The Preaching Differs — Peter preached prophecy; Paul preached mystery. (Romans 16:25)

Explanation: God has two distinct programs — Prophecy for Israel and Mystery for the Body of Christ. Confusing them leads to doctrinal chaos.

POINT 2 — 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗗𝗜𝗙𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗧

(Galatians 2:7–9)

God raised different apostles for different messages.

A. Peter the Apostle of Circumcision — Sent to Israel with the gospel of the kingdom. (Matthew 10:5–7)
B. Paul the Apostle of the Gentiles — Sent to all nations with the gospel of the grace of God. (Romans 11:13; Acts 20:24)
C. The Partnership in Plan — Two ministries, one divine purpose—Christ exalted in all. (Philippians 1:18)

Explanation: Peter’s ministry was prophetic; Paul’s was dispensational. Each revealed God’s truth in its time.

POINT 3 — 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗗𝗜𝗙𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗧

(Acts 2:38; Romans 3:28)

Two different gospels — both from God, but for different dispensations.

A. Peter’s Gospel — Repent and Be Baptized — For remission of sins and entrance into the kingdom. (Acts 2:38)
B. Paul’s Gospel — Believe and Be Saved — By grace through faith, apart from works. (Ephesians 2:8–9)
C. The Progression of Revelation — From repentance and water to faith and blood. (Romans 3:25)

Explanation: God progressively revealed salvation truth — now, under grace, faith alone in Christ’s finished work saves.

POINT 4 — 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗨𝗥𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗘𝗦 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗗𝗜𝗙𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗧

(Ephesians 1:10–11)

Each dispensation fulfills God’s eternal plan to reconcile all things in Christ.

A. Earthly Purpose with Israel — Christ to reign on David’s throne. (Luke 1:32–33)
B. Heavenly Purpose with the Church — The Body to reign with Christ above. (Ephesians 2:6–7)
C. Eternal Purpose in Christ — Both programs meet in Him. (Colossians 1:20)

Explanation: Israel’s kingdom is earthly; the Body’s inheritance is heavenly. Don’t trade your heavenly blessings for Israel’s earthly promises.

POINT 5 — 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗘𝗦 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗗𝗜𝗙𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗧

(Romans 6:14; Colossians 2:16–17)

Law and grace cannot operate together.

A. The Law Program — Israel lived under law, covenants, and ceremonies. (Exodus 20:1–17)
B. The Grace Program — The Body of Christ lives under grace, liberty, and spiritual blessings. (Romans 6:14)
C. The Pattern of Paul — Our conduct and doctrine must follow Paul’s pattern. (1 Timothy 1:16)

Explanation: The law was a shadow; grace is the substance. Mixing them destroys both.

POINT 6 — 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗘𝗦 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗗𝗜𝗙𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗧

(2 Peter 3:13; Philippians 3:20–21)

Different hopes for different people.

A. Israel’s Hope — A New Earthly Kingdom (Isaiah 65:17)
B. The Church’s Hope — A Heavenly Catching Away (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17)
C. The Blessed Assurance — One Lord, Two Programs, One Purpose (Titus 2:13)

Explanation: We do not look for the kingdom to come to earth; we look to be caught up to heaven.

POINT 7 — 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗙𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗚𝗢𝗗’𝗦 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗡

(Romans 11:33–36)

God’s wisdom is revealed progressively and perfectly through His dispensations.

A. The Revelation of His Grace — Manifested fully in Christ through Paul. (Titus 2:11)
B. The Restoration of His Glory — Through Israel’s future kingdom. (Romans 11:25–27)
C. The Reconciliation of All Things — In heaven and in earth through Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 1:10)

Explanation: When rightly divided, the Bible reveals a beautiful harmony between prophecy and mystery—two programs, one Redeemer.

𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡

Beloved, God’s Word never contradicts itself; it only confuses the careless. We must not mix Peter’s kingdom message with Paul’s grace message. The same Bible reveals different instructions to different audiences in different ages.

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” — 2 Timothy 2:15

Study diligently — Know which gospel applies today.
Stand faithfully — Defend the distinct message of grace.
Share boldly — Preach Paul’s gospel of faith alone in the finished work of Christ.

𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦

The same Bible reveals different programs.
The same Savior saves in different dispensations.
The same Spirit leads all truth—but only when we rightly divide.
