PAUL’S GOSPEL: THE GOSPEL OF THE GRACE OF GOD

1 Corinthians 15:1–4; Acts 20:24

INTRODUCTION

Many religious systems preach a mixed message—law with grace, works with faith, Israel with the Church. But the Bible commands us to rightly divide the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15). The image before us clearly presents Paul’s Gospel, the only gospel that saves today in this Dispensation of Grace.

This is not church tradition. This is not denominational teaching. This is the Gospel of the Grace of God revealed to the Apostle Paul. Today, we will examine 9 Dispensational Truths of Paul’s Gospel.

PROCLAMATION OF THE GOSPEL
1 Corinthians 15:1–4
Christ died… was buried… and rose again.

A. Declared Message – “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel…”
B. Defined Message – Death, burial, resurrection—not commandments
C. Delivered Message – Given by revelation, not tradition
Salvation is based on what Christ DID, not what man DOES.

PURCHASE BY THE BLOOD
Ephesians 1:7
“Redemption through His blood.”

A. Price Paid – Blood, not silver or gold
B. Penalty Removed – Sin fully forgiven
C. Payment Final – No installment salvation
The blood of Christ settled the debt forever.

POWER OF THE CROSS
1 Corinthians 1:18
“The preaching of the cross is… the power of God.”

A. Rejected by the World – Called foolishness
B. Revealed by God – Hidden wisdom
C. Received by Believers – Saving power
The cross is not a symbol—it is the source of salvation.

PROOF OF THE RESURRECTION
1 Corinthians 15:17
“If Christ be not raised, your faith is vain.”

A. Victory Over Death – Resurrection confirmed
B. Validation of Payment – God accepted the sacrifice
C. Verification of Faith – Faith rests on a risen Savior
No resurrection = no salvation.

PARDON BY FAITH
Romans 5:1
“Justified by faith.”

A. Faith Alone – No works added
B. Full Justification – Declared righteous now
C. Finished Standing – No probation period
Faith receives what grace provides.

POSITION IN CHRIST
2 Corinthians 5:17
“If any man be in Christ…”

A. New Creation – Not reformed, recreated
B. New Identity – In Christ, not in Adam
C. New Standing – Accepted in the Beloved
Salvation changes WHO you are, not just HOW you live.

PLACE IN HEAVEN
Ephesians 2:6
“Seated together in heavenly places in Christ.”

A. Heavenly Citizenship – Not earthly kingdom
B. Heavenly Hope – Rapture, not tribulation
C. Heavenly Inheritance – Eternal glory
The Church is heaven-bound, not kingdom-bound.

PERMANENCE OF SALVATION
Ephesians 1:13–14
“Sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.”

A. Sealed by God – Not by man
B. Secured Forever – Until redemption
C. Sure Salvation – Cannot be lost
If you could lose it, Christ didn’t finish it.

PROCLAMATION OF GRACE
Acts 20:24
“The gospel of the grace of God.”

A. Distinct Gospel – Not the Kingdom Gospel
B. Dispensational Gospel – For today’s Church
C. Declared Boldly – Without compromise
Paul’s Gospel is YOUR Gospel today.

CONCLUSION

Paul’s Gospel is:
Christ-centered
Cross-finished
Grace-based
Faith-received
Eternally secure
Anything added to it corrupts it (Galatians 1:6–9).

CALL TO ACTION

Believe the Gospel (1 Cor. 15:1–4)
Reject works-salvation (Eph. 2:8–9)
Rightly divide the Word (2 Tim. 2:15)
Preach Paul’s Gospel boldly (Acts 20:24)
Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
