𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗦𝗔𝗩𝗘𝗗, 𝗔𝗟𝗪𝗔𝗬𝗦 𝗦𝗔𝗩𝗘𝗗: 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗗 – 𝗕𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗗 – 𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗗

𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗦𝗔𝗩𝗘𝗗, 𝗔𝗟𝗪𝗔𝗬𝗦 𝗦𝗔𝗩𝗘𝗗: 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗗 – 𝗕𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗗 – 𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗗

Ephesians 1:13-14 (KJV)

“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation:
in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.”

𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

We live in an age of confusion — where many doubt their salvation and question whether grace can truly keep them.

But according to Paul’s Gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1–4), salvation is not a temporary probation; it’s a permanent position in Christ.

This doctrine of Eternal Security — “Once Saved, Always Saved” — is a truth revealed in the Dispensation of Grace to the Body of Christ, sealed and secured by the Holy Spirit.

Let us unfold how we can have absolute assurance in our salvation through hearing, believing, and being sealed.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗪𝗔𝗦 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗗 — 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗚𝗢𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗟 𝗢𝗙 𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗩𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

Before salvation can occur, truth must be heard — faith begins by hearing!

(A) The Source of the Message — Romans 10:17 – “Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

(B) The Substance of the Message — 1 Corinthians 15:3–4 – The death, burial, and resurrection of Christ for our sins.

(C) The Sufficiency of the Message — Romans 1:16 – “It is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth.”

Dispensational Truth: The gospel that saves today is Paul’s gospel (Romans 2:16), not Peter’s kingdom message (Acts 2:38).

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗕𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗗 — 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗧𝗛

After hearing comes believing — not in works, but in Christ alone.

(A) The Simplicity of Faith — Acts 16:31 – “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.”

(B) The Separation from Works — Romans 4:5 – “To him that worketh not, but believeth… his faith is counted for righteousness.”

(C) The Security of the Believer — John 5:24 – “He that heareth my word, and believeth… hath everlasting life.”

Dispensational Truth: We are saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9), without law, ordinances, or water baptism.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗗 — 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗬 𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗘

The moment one believes, the Holy Spirit performs a divine act — sealing the believer eternally.

(A) The Moment of Sealing — Ephesians 1:13 – “After that ye believed, ye were sealed…”

(B) The Meaning of Sealing — Ownership and security until redemption (Ephesians 4:30).

(C) The Ministry of the Spirit — Romans 8:16 – “The Spirit itself beareth witness… that we are the children of God.”

Dispensational Truth: The sealing is unique to the Body of Christ; Israel was not sealed like we are today.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗪𝗔𝗦 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗦𝗛𝗘𝗗 — 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗥𝗢𝗦𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧

Eternal security stands upon a finished work, not a fluctuating feeling.

(A) The Completion of Redemption — John 19:30 – “It is finished.”

(B) The Cancellation of Sin — Colossians 2:13–14 – “Having forgiven you all trespasses…”

(C) The Continuation of Grace — Romans 5:1–2 – “We have peace with God… by whom also we have access by faith.”

Dispensational Truth: The cross accomplished what the Law could not (Romans 8:3); salvation today is complete in Christ (Colossians 2:10).

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗠𝗦 — 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗧’𝗦 𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗬

Our assurance isn’t in our performance but in the Spirit’s presence within us.

(A) The Inner Testimony — Romans 8:16 – “The Spirit itself beareth witness…”

(B) The Indwelling Presence — 1 Corinthians 6:19 – “Your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost.”

(C) The Infallible Promise — 2 Corinthians 1:22 – “Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.”

Dispensational Truth: The Spirit doesn’t come and go; He abides permanently in the Body of Christ (unlike in Israel’s program).

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗜𝗦 𝗚𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗡 — 𝗗𝗢𝗖𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗗𝗘𝗖𝗘𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

Many lose peace, not salvation, because of false teachers denying eternal security.

(A) The Corruption of Grace — Galatians 1:6–7 – “Another gospel… which is not another.”

(B) The Confusion of Works — Galatians 3:3 – “Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?”

(C) The Call to Right Division — 2 Timothy 2:15 – “Rightly dividing the word of truth.”

Dispensational Truth: Mixing Israel’s conditional covenants with the Body’s unconditional security leads to false doctrine and fear.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗜𝗦 𝗚𝗨𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗘𝗗 — 𝗚𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗢 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘

Our salvation ends not in doubt, but in destiny — eternal glory with Christ!

(A) The Assurance of Redemption — Ephesians 1:14 – “Until the redemption of the purchased possession.”

(B) The Appointment of Glory — Romans 8:30 – “Whom he justified, them he also glorified.”

(C) The Awaiting of the Rapture — 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 – “So shall we ever be with the Lord.”

Dispensational Truth: The Body of Christ has a heavenly hope, not an earthly kingdom — sealed till the day of redemption.

𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡

“Once Saved, Always Saved” is not arrogance — it’s assurance in Christ’s accomplishment.
Our salvation is not maintained by man, but secured by the Spirit.
You didn’t earn it, so you can’t lose it.

The Blood of Christ saves you,
The Spirit of God seals you, and
The Word of Truth secures you forever.

𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗧𝗢 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

Believer, rest in your position in Christ — stop doubting what God has sealed!
Preacher, proclaim the gospel of grace, not fear and works!
Church, rejoice in your eternal inheritance — you are complete in Him!

“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it…” — Philippians 1:6

𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦

You heard the Word of Truth.
You believed the Gospel of Grace.
You were sealed by the Spirit of God.
You are secure in the Savior’s promise.
You are separated from condemnation forever.
You are sanctified by His Spirit, not your struggle.
You are settled for eternity — once saved, always saved!
