NO POLITICS FOR DISPENSATIONAL RIGHT DIVIDERS — WE ARE HEAVENLY PEOPLE, NOT EARTHLY

INTRODUCTION

In every generation, believers are tempted to get entangled with the political systems of this world. But in the Dispensation of Grace, God has not called the Body of Christ to advance earthly kingdoms or political agendas. Our identity, inheritance, and citizenship are heavenly, not earthly (Phil. 3:20).

Paul teaches us to pray for leaders, live peaceably, and preach the gospel—not to reform earthly governments.
This message reminds us why right dividers must stay focused on our heavenly calling, not earthly politics.

THE POSITION OF THE BODY — OUR HEAVENLY CALLING

A. A Celestial Citizenship — WE BELONG ABOVE

“Our conversation (citizenship) is in heaven” (Phil. 3:20).

Our identity is not tied to nations, parties, or movements.

B. A Christ-Centered Connection — WE ARE IN HIM

Seated with Christ in heavenly places (Eph. 2:6).

Our position determines our priorities.

C. A Completed Purpose — WE REPRESENT HEAVEN

Ambassadors for Christ (2 Cor. 5:20).

Ambassadors do not get entangled in local politics.

THE PURPOSE OF THE DISPENSATION — GRACE, NOT GOVERNMENT

A. A Gospel-Driven Mission — PREACHING SALVATION

God’s will today: “all men be saved” (1 Tim. 2:4).

Not political reformation, but spiritual regeneration.

B. A Grace-Given Message — PEACE WITH GOD

Justified by faith, not law (Rom. 5:1).

Politics seeks control; grace brings peace.

C. A Global Gentile Focus — PAUL’S UNIQUE PATTERN

Paul given the dispensation of grace (Eph. 3:1–3).

This program does not involve political kingdoms.

THE PROBLEM WITH POLITICAL ENTANGLEMENTS

Politics is earthly; our doctrine is heavenly.

Heavenly people must think heavenly.

THE PERSPECTIVE OF PROPHECY VS PAUL

A. A Kingdom Program — ISRAEL’S POLITICAL FUTURE

Prophecy concerns earthly kingdoms (Isa. 9:7).

Israel will rule nations in the Millennial Kingdom.

B. A Grace Program — THE BODY’S HEAVENLY FUTURE

We are blessed with spiritual blessings in heavenly places (Eph. 1:3).

Not promised earthly rule.

C. A Proper Division — KNOWING OUR DISPENSATION

Mixing the kingdom program leads to political activism.

Paul’s program leads to spiritual evangelism.

THE PEACE OF A HEAVENLY MINDSET

A. A Quiet Life — PROMOTED BY PAUL

“Lead a quiet and peaceable life” (1 Tim. 2:2).

Not a politically combative life.

B. A Content Heart — TRUSTING GOD’S PLAN

God sets up kings and removes kings (Dan. 2:21).

We rest in His sovereignty, not in elections.

C. A Confident Hope — WAITING FOR CHRIST

Our hope is His appearing (Titus 2:13).

Not national revival, but heavenly glory.

We are heavenly, not earthly.
We are ambassadors, not activists.

Our focus must remain on the gospel, grace, and the edification of the Body—not the shifting kingdoms of this world.
