JESUS IS THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER

(Hebrews 13:8)

INTRODUCTION

Many quote Hebrews 13:8 to claim that God never changes in His dealings with man, but the verse does not say God deals with people the same in every dispensation.

It declares that Jesus Himself—His character, deity, holiness, and faithfulness—never changes, even though His instructions, operations, and programs do change throughout Scripture.

The Person is unchanging.
The Program is progressive.
The Purpose is eternal.

Let us explore this truth dispensationally.

CONCLUSION

Jesus never changes in His nature, character, or faithfulness.
But He does change His dealings, His dispensations, and His instructions to mankind.
Right division protects this truth by distinguishing the unchanging Christ from His changing programs.

The God who never changes
has a plan that often does.

His presence is abiding.
His people differ by dispensation.
