INTRODUCTION

God never intended the gospel to stop at salvation.
The seed is meant to grow into a tree.
The tree is meant to bear fruit.

In this Dispensation of Grace, Paul reveals God’s full purpose:
Justification by faith
Sanctification by growth
Service that multiplies

Today we will trace 9 Pauline growth stages from the SEED OF THE GOSPEL to the FRUITFUL TREE.

SOWING — HEART vs ROOT
Romans 10:17; Colossians 2:7 (KJV)

A. Word Planted – Gospel sown in the heart
B. Faith Received – Belief begins life
C. Roots Established – Stability in Christ
Dispensational Insight:
Salvation begins internally before it shows externally.

SPROUTING — FAITH vs FRUIT
Ephesians 2:8–10; Galatians 5:22 (KJV)

A. Faith Saves – Grace through faith alone
B. Life Emerges – New creation formed
C. Fruit Appears – Evidence follows belief
Pauline Balance:
Faith saves—but fruit follows.

SUSTENANCE — WORD vs WALK
Colossians 3:16; Colossians 1:10 (KJV)

A. Word Nourishes – Truth feeds growth
B. Walk Reflects – Life aligns with doctrine
C. Consistency Develops – Knowledge becomes conduct
Truth:
Sound doctrine produces sound living.

STRENGTHENING — GRACE vs GROWTH

A. Grace Sustains – God supplies strength
B. Growth Continues – Maturity develops
C. Stability Forms – No longer tossed
Pauline Reality:
Grace is not stagnant—it strengthens.

STRUCTURE — DISCIPLE vs DISCIPLE-MAKER

A. Learner Formed – Disciple grows
B. Teacher Equipped – Truth entrusted
C. Reproduction Begins – Life multiplies
Dispensational Application:
Grace matures believers into builders.

SERVICE — SALVATION vs SERVICE

A. Salvation Settled – Eternal security
B. Service Offered – Living sacrifice
C. Ministry Expanded – Christ proclaimed
Pauline Order:
Saved unto good works—not by them.

SEASONING — CHARACTER vs CHRISTLIKENESS

A. Inner Change – Character transformed
B. Christ Formed – Image reflected
C. Righteous Fruit – God glorified
Emphasis:
Fruit reveals who you are rooted in.

SUPPLY — ONE LIFE vs MANY LIVES
1 Corinthians 3:6–7; 2 Corinthians 9:10 (KJV)

A. God Gives Increase – Growth is divine
B. Ministry Multiplies – Lives impacted
C. Harvest Expands – Seed becomes forest
Dispensational Truth:
We plant and water—God produces.

SUCCESS — GROWTH vs GLORY
John 15:8; Colossians 1:12 (KJV)

A. Much Fruit – Evidence of discipleship
B. God Glorified – Purpose fulfilled
C. Eternal Reward – Labor not in vain
Final Reality:
Fruitfulness brings glory—to God alone.

CONCLUSION

The seed saves.
The tree serves.
The fruit multiplies.
God did not save you to stay a seed—
He saved you to grow, bear fruit, and feed others.

CALL TO ACTION
