𝗕𝗘𝗛𝗔𝗩𝗜𝗢𝗥 𝗗𝗢𝗘𝗦 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗘 𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗩𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

𝗕𝗘𝗛𝗔𝗩𝗜𝗢𝗥 𝗗𝗢𝗘𝗦 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗘 𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗩𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Throughout history, many have judged salvation by someone’s lifestyle. If one lived holy, people said, “He must be saved.” If one fell into sin, they said, “He must not be saved.” But in the dispensation of grace, salvation is not determined by behavior but by belief in the finished work of Christ (1 Cor. 15:1–4). Works follow salvation but never form the foundation of it.

𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗯𝘆 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵, 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 (Rom. 5:1)

We are justified by faith in Christ — not by what we do. Behavior is fruit, not the root.

𝗔𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁, 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 (2 Tim. 1:12)

Our eternal security rests in the Savior, not in our performance.

𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗹, 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 (1 Cor. 15:3–4)

The proof of salvation is belief in the gospel, not moral achievements.

𝗔𝗯𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗔𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 (Eph. 1:13–14)

Sealed by the Spirit, our salvation is secure even if our walk wavers.

𝗔𝗯𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲, 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 (Gal. 2:16)

God saves apart from the works of the law; adding behavior undermines grace.

𝗔𝗰𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (1 Cor. 3:1–3)

Paul called the Corinthians “brethren” even though they were carnal — behavior didn’t nullify salvation.

𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝘆 𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗲, 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 (2 Tim. 2:15)

Rightly dividing shows us salvation is based on Christ’s cross, not man’s character.

𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (1 Thess. 4:3)

Growth in holiness is expected but separate from the gift of eternal life.

𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 (Eph. 2:6)

Believers are seated with Christ in heavenly places regardless of earthly struggles.

𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗚𝗼𝗱, 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗻 (Rom. 14:4)

Man may misjudge, but the Lord knows those who are His.

𝗔𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁, 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 (Col. 3:3)

Our life is hidden in Christ — not measured by daily perfection.

𝗔𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀, 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿 (Gal. 6:14)

When asked about salvation, we point to the cross, not our behavior.

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻

Salvation is a gift, not a reward. Behavior can show maturity, immaturity, or carnality, but it does not determine whether someone is saved. A believer may stumble, but his position in Christ is unshakable. Grace begins the work, and grace keeps the believer secure.
