βAND YE SHALL KNOW THE TRUTHβ
From Bondage to Freedom through Rightly Divided Truth
Key Text: John 8:32; 2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV)
INTRODUCTION
The image before us reveals three spiritual conditions:
Blinded
Deceived
Freed
Jesus did not say religion would make men free.
He did not say tradition would make men free.
He said TRUTH would make men free.
In this Dispensation of Grace, freedom comes through Pauline revelation, the rightly divided Word of God (2 Tim. 2:15).
Today we will see 9 biblical truths showing the progression from blindness to liberty.
BLINDED BY SATAN
2 Corinthians 4:3β4
A. Spiritual Blindness β The god of this world blinds minds
B. Selective Sight β Religion without revelation
C. Suppressed Salvation β Gospel hidden from the lost
Dispensational Insight:
Blindness is not removed by emotion, miracles, or ritualsβbut by the gospel of grace revealed to Paul.
BOUND BY TRADITION
Mark 7:7β9
A. Man-Made Doctrines β Commandments of men
B. Mixed Messages β Law blended with grace
C. Misplaced Authority β Tradition over Scripture

Dispensational Insight:
Deception thrives where Scripture is not rightly divided.
BELIEVING WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING

C. Law Confuses β When applied to grace saints
Dispensational Insight:

BORN AGAIN BY BELIEF
1 Corinthians 15:1β4
A. Belief in the Gospel β Death, burial, resurrection
B. Belief Alone β No works added
C. Belief Secured β Eternal salvation
Dispensational Insight:
This is Paulβs gospel, the power of God unto salvation today.
BROUGHT INTO LIBERTY
Galatians 5:1
A. Freedom from Condemnation β Romans 8:1
B. Freedom from Ritual β Colossians 2:16
C. Freedom from Fear β Grace assures security

Grace does not enslaveβit liberates.
BUILT UP BY TRUTH
Acts 20:32
A. Grace Edifies β Builds the inner man
B. Truth Establishes β Stabilizes doctrine
C. Knowledge Strengthens β Maturity in Christ
Dispensational Insight:
The believer grows by Pauline doctrine, not by signs.
BROKEN FREE BY THE WORD
John 8:32
A. Truth Known β Not assumed
B. Truth Believed β Not resisted
C. Truth Applied β Not merely heard
Dispensational Insight:
Freedom comes when Scripture is rightly divided, not religiously repeated.
