ONLY ONE NARROW WAY TO GOD

(Rightly Divided – Dispensational Truth)
Key Text: 2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV)
β€œRightly dividing the word of truth.”

INTRODUCTION

Jesus spoke of a narrow way (Matthew 7:14), but Scripture must be rightly divided to understand how that way is revealed in different dispensations.
The narrow way under Israel’s program involved prophecy, law, repentance, and the kingdom.

The narrow way for today’s Church, the Body of Christ, is revealed through the Apostle Paulβ€”a way of pure grace, faith alone, in Christ alone.
Mixing prophecy with mystery creates confusion, bondage, and false gospels.

Today we will examine NINE DISPENSATIONAL TRUTHS showing that there is ONLY ONE NARROW WAY TO GODβ€”RIGHTLY DIVIDED.

PROMISED PATH (Israel’s Narrow Way)
Matthew 15:24; Romans 9:4–5

A. Promised to Israel – The covenants and promises were given to Israel
B. Prophetic Focus – The narrow way tied to kingdom prophecy
C. Particular People – Gentiles were strangers to these promises
Dispensational Insight:
Matthew 7:14 speaks within Israel’s prophetic program, not the Church Age.

PROPHETIC PREACHING (Kingdom Message)
Matthew 4:17; Acts 2:38

A. Repentance Required – A change of mind for Israel
B. Baptism Required – For remission of sins
C. Kingdom Required – Entrance into the promised earthly kingdom
Dispensational Insight:
This message is not the gospel preached today.

PARTITIONED PEOPLE (Jew & Gentile Divided)
Ephesians 2:11–12

A. Gentiles Excluded – Without God and hope
B. Covenant Barrier – Middle wall of partition
C. Circumcision Distinction – Fleshly separation
Dispensational Insight:
The narrow way once excluded Gentilesβ€”but not anymore.

PAULINE PATH (Mystery Revealed)
Ephesians 3:1–6

A. Mystery Hidden – Not revealed in prophecy
B. Message Committed – Given to Paul alone
C. Members United – One Body in Christ
Dispensational Insight:
The narrow way today is the mystery gospel, not prophecy.

PARDON PROVIDED (Grace Alone)
Ephesians 2:8–9

A. Grace Alone – God’s unearned favor
B. Faith Alone – Belief, not performance
C. Gift Alone – Salvation received, not achieved
Dispensational Insight:
The narrow way today is not law, ritual, or religionβ€”only grace.

PAYMENT PROCLAIMED (Cross Alone)
1 Corinthians 15:1–4

A. Christ Died – For our sins
B. Christ Buried – Proof of death
C. Christ Rose – Proof of victory
Dispensational Insight:
The cross is the only entrance to God today.

POSITION PERFECTED (In Christ)
Colossians 2:10

A. Complete in Christ – Nothing lacking
B. Accepted in Christ – No condemnation
C. Secure in Christ – Eternal standing
Dispensational Insight:
The narrow way places us IN CHRIST, not in religion.

PROTECTION PROMISED (Eternal Security)
Romans 8:38–39

A. No Separation – Nothing can remove us
B. No Condemnation – Justified forever
C. No Fear – Eternal life guaranteed
Dispensational Insight:
Grace does not loseβ€”Christ keeps.

PRACTICAL PURPOSE (Walk Worthy)
Ephesians 4:1

A. Walk in Grace – Not law-keeping
B. Walk in Love – Not fear
C. Walk in Light – Not confusion
Dispensational Insight:
We don’t walk the narrow way to be saved, but because we are saved.

CONCLUSION

There is ONLY ONE NARROW WAY TO GOD, but it must be rightly divided:
Not Israel’s law
Not the kingdom gospel
Not religion or works
The narrow way TODAY is:
Christ alone, by grace alone, through faith aloneβ€”revealed to Paul.

CALL TO ACTION

Believe the right gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1–4)
Study rightly divided Scripture (2 Timothy 2:15)
Reject mixed messages (Galatians 1:6–9)
Rest in Christ alone

FINAL THOUGHTS

Many preach a narrow way of effort.
God offers a narrow way of grace.
The narrow way is not hardβ€”it is exclusive.
Exclusive not because it is difficultβ€”but because Christ finished the work.
