THE βI WILLβ vs. THE βI AMβ
INTRODUCTION
The Bible contrasts two voices and two natures:
Lucifer says, βI WILLβ β a declaration of pride, rebellion, and self-exaltation.
Jesus says, βI AMβ β a revelation of deity, humility, and saving sufficiency.
One seeks to take Godβs place.
The other IS God who took our place.
Right division helps us see who Christ is, what He accomplished, and how pride always opposes grace.
βGod resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.β β James 4:6
