INTRODUCTION

Not every defender is defending the right thing.
Some fight for names, systems, and traditions, while others stand for sound doctrine revealed to Paul.

In this Dispensation of Grace, God is not building denominations—He is building the Body of Christ.
“That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro…” — Ephesians 4:14

FOUNDATION — WHAT IS BEING DEFENDED

A. Denomination Defender — Built on tradition
B. Doctrine Defender — Built on truth
C. Distinguishing Factor — Christ alone as foundation
If the foundation is wrong, everything above it is unstable.

FIDELITY — WHERE LOYALTY LIES

A. Loyalty to Creeds — Man-made systems
B. Loyalty to Christ — God-given revelation
C. Loyalty Tested — Approval of men or God
You cannot serve truth and tradition equally.

CONCLUSION

God never commanded us to defend a denomination.
He commanded us to defend sound doctrine, rightly divide the Word, and stand fast in grace.
“Hold fast the form of sound words…” — 2 Timothy 1:13
