WHAT GOSPEL HAVE YOU BELIEVED?

The Gospel of the Kingdom vs. The Gospel of the Grace of God

INTRODUCTION

The Bible uses the word gospel more than once—but not every gospel is the same message for every people or every time. Confusion enters when believers fail to rightly divide God’s Word and mix Israel’s Kingdom message with the Church’s Grace message.
The question is not “Do you believe in Jesus?”
The question is “Which gospel have you believed?”

Today we will examine NINE DISTINCTIONS between the GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM and the GOSPEL OF THE GRACE OF GOD, according to Pauline revelation.

PEOPLE — Israel vs. All Nations
Matthew 15:24 | Romans 1:16

A. Kingdom People – Sent to the lost sheep of Israel
B. Grace People – Jew and Gentile made one
C. Present Program – No national distinction
Insight:
The Body of Christ is not Israel renewed, but a new creature (2 Cor. 5:17).

PREACHERS — The Twelve vs. Paul
Matthew 10:5–7 | Galatians 1:11–12

A. Kingdom Messengers – The Twelve Apostles
B. Grace Messenger – The Apostle Paul
C. Distinct Commission – Revelation from heaven
Dispensational Truth:
Paul was not taught by men—but by Christ.

PROCLAMATION — Law & Works vs. Grace Through Faith
Matthew 19:17 | Ephesians 2:8–9

A. Kingdom Call – Obey commandments
B. Grace Call – Believe the gospel
C. Clear Contrast – Works vs. faith alone
Pauline Doctrine:
Grace excludes boasting and works.

PROOF — Signs vs. Faith
1 Corinthians 1:22 | 2 Corinthians 5:7

A. Kingdom Proof – Signs and miracles required
B. Grace Walk – Faith without sight
C. Present Reality – Revelation replaces signs
Truth:
Signs were for Israel—not the Church.

PLATFORM — Earthly Ministry vs. Heavenly Ministry
Matthew 4:17 | Acts 20:24

A. Kingdom Setting – Christ on earth
B. Grace Setting – Christ in heaven
C. New Administration – Risen Lord speaking
Right Division:
Our gospel flows from the risen Christ, not the manger.

PROMISE — Earthly Kingdom vs. Heavenly Position
Matthew 6:10 | Ephesians 1:3

A. Kingdom Hope – Earth restored
B. Grace Hope – Heavenly blessings
C. Body Position – Seated in Christ
Pauline Reality:
We look up, not for a throne on earth.

PERFORMANCE — Endurance vs. Finished Work
Matthew 24:13 | Hebrews 10:10

A. Kingdom Endurance – Must endure to the end
B. Grace Completion – It is finished
C. Security – Salvation sealed
Dispensational Clarity:
The cross finished what endurance never could.

PROGRESSION — Tribulation vs. Rapture
Matthew 24:21 | 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17

A. Kingdom Timeline – Ends in Great Tribulation
B. Grace Timeline – Ends with the Pre Tribulation Rapture
C. Blessed Hope – Imminent catching away
Pauline Hope:
The Church is removed, not refined through wrath.

PRECISION — Another Gospel vs. The One Gospel Today
Galatians 1:6–9 | 1 Corinthians 15:1–4

A. Mixed Message – Produces confusion
B. Right Gospel – Death, burial, resurrection
C. Saving Faith – Trusting Christ alone
Conclusion:
Only Paul’s gospel saves today.

CONCLUSION

There is only ONE gospel that saves in this present Dispensation of Grace—and it is not the gospel preached during Christ’s earthly ministry.
“Christ died for our sins… was buried… and rose again the third day.”
— 1 Corinthians 15:3–4
Mixing gospels destroys clarity and robs assurance.

CALL TO ACTION

Rightly divide the Word
Believe Paul’s Gospel
Reject gospel mixing
Rest in Christ’s finished work
Proclaim the Grace of God boldly

Israel had a Kingdom Gospel
The Church has a Grace Gospel
Mixing them causes confusion
Paul reveals the mystery
Christ finished the work
Salvation is by faith alone
The Church is heavenly
The Rapture is our hope
ONE gospel saves today
