JESUS CHRIST: THE WAY — NOT ONE OF THE WAYS

Rightly Dividing Religious Claims from Redemptive Truth

“I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

INTRODUCTION

The world says, “All religions lead to God.”
The Bible says, “There is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)

In this Dispensation of Grace, God has revealed through the Apostle Paul a clear gospel, a clear Christ, and a clear contrast between the message of men and the Person of Christ.

Today, we will rightly divide MUHAMMAD and JESUS CHRIST—not to mock people, but to magnify the Saviour.

PERSON — PROPHET vs PERSON OF GOD
Hebrews 1:1–2; John 1:1 (KJV)

A. Man Sent – Muhammad claimed prophetic role
B. Word Made Flesh – Christ is God incarnate
C. Messenger vs Manifestation – One spoke; One is the Word
Dispensational Insight:
God now speaks by His Son, not by later prophets.

PURITY — SINFUL vs SINLESS
Romans 3:23; 1 Peter 2:22 (KJV)

A. Born in Adam – All men inherit sin
B. Born of a Virgin – Christ exempt from Adamic sin
C. Flawed vs Faultless – One needed mercy; One provided it
Pauline Truth:
Only a sinless Saviour can save sinners.

PURPOSE — MESSAGE vs MEDIATOR
Galatians 1:11–12; 1 Timothy 2:5 (KJV)

A. Brought Instructions – Muhammad delivered teachings
B. Became the Bridge – Christ is the Mediator
C. Direction vs Redemption – One taught; One saves
Emphasis:
Salvation is not instruction—it is reconciliation.

POSITION — SERVANT vs SON
John 5:18; Hebrews 3:5–6 (KJV)

A. Claimed Submission – Prophet under God
B. Claimed Sonship – Equal with the Father
C. Servant vs Sovereign – House servant vs House owner
Right Division:
Christ did not claim to know God—He claimed to be God.

PASSION — TOMB vs TRIUMPH
Romans 6:9; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4 (KJV)

A. Death Remains – Muhammad died and stayed dead
B. Death Defeated – Christ rose bodily
C. End vs Entrance – Grave sealed vs stone rolled away
Pauline Gospel:
The resurrection is non-negotiable.

PATH — WORKS vs WAGES PAID
Romans 4:5; Ephesians 2:8–9 (KJV)

A. Law and Effort – Salvation earned by deeds
B. Grace and Gift – Salvation given freely
C. Human Merit vs Divine Mercy – Effort vs faith
Dispensational Clarity:
Grace excludes boasting—and works.

PRAISE — FOLLOWED vs FELL BEFORE

A. Followers Only – Muhammad forbade worship
B. Universal Worship – Christ receives worship
C. Respect vs Reverence – Honored man vs exalted Lord
Pauline Reality:
Every knee will bow to Jesus, not prophets.

POWER — MORAL vs MIRACULOUS

A. Moral Reform – External behavior change
B. New Creation – Regeneration by the Spirit
C. Control vs Conversion – Law restrains; grace transforms
Application:
Christianity is not reform—it is rebirth.

PROSPECT — EARTHLY vs ETERNAL
Philippians 3:20; Titus 2:13 (KJV)

A. Earthly Hope – Paradise through effort
B. Heavenly Calling – Glory through Christ
C. Uncertainty vs Assurance – Hope unsure vs hope sealed
Dispensational Hope:
The Church waits for Christ, not judgment.

CONCLUSION

Muhammad pointed to God.
Jesus is God.
Muhammad taught a way.
Jesus is the way.
Muhammad’s tomb is occupied.
Jesus’ tomb is empty.

CALL TO ACTION

BELIEVE the gospel
TRUST the risen Christ
REJECT religious substitutes
REST in grace alone
Do not choose a religion.
Choose the Saviour.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Truth is not decided by sincerity.
Truth is revealed by God.
