DANIEL’S 70TH WEEK — RIGHTLY DIVIDED

INTRODUCTION

Many believers are confused about prophecy because they mix Israel’s program with the Church’s calling. Daniel’s prophecy was given to Israel, not the Body of Christ. When Scripture is rightly divided, the 69 weeks are fulfilled, the Church Age fills the gap, and the 70th week remains future.

Today we will rightly divide Daniel’s 70th Week in 9 clear dispensational truths.

DECREED PROPHECY
Daniel 9:24
Truth: The prophecy was decreed specifically for Israel.

A. Directed People – “Thy people” (Israel)
B. Determined Purpose – Finish transgression
C. Defined Period – Seventy weeks appointed
Dispensational Insight:
Daniel’s prophecy concerns Israel’s covenant program, not the Church.

DISTINCT PERIODS
Daniel 9:25
Truth: God clearly outlines prophetic segments.

A. Seven Weeks – Rebuilding Jerusalem
B. Sixty-Two Weeks – Arrival of Messiah
C. Specific Countdown – Precise prophetic timing
Right Division:
Prophecy runs on Israel’s calendar, not the Church’s.

DELIVERED MESSIAH
Daniel 9:25–26
Truth: Messiah came exactly as foretold.

Christ came under the Law, not the Dispensation of Grace.

The Church reigns with Christ, but Israel receives the kingdom.

CONCLUSION

Daniel’s 70th Week is not about the Church.
It is about Israel, judgment, and the kingdom.
When Scripture is rightly divided:
Grace is now
Wrath is later
The Church is heavenly
Israel is earthly

The gap is not undefined.
It is the Church Age.
Grace now — wrath later.
