WHAT THE HOLY SPIRIT DOES TODAY

(His Present Work in the Dispensation of Grace)
Key Text: Ephesians 1:13–14; Romans 8

INTRODUCTION

Many believers speak about the Holy Spirit emotionally, mystically, or experientiallyβ€”but Scripture tells us plainly what He does.
Rightly dividing the Word (2 Timothy 2:15) shows that the Spirit’s ministry today is not sign-based or sensational, but spiritual, inward, and positional, revealed through the Apostle Paul for the Church, the Body of Christ.

Today, we will examine 9 works of the Holy Spirit operating NOW in this Dispensation of Grace.

CONVICTING SPIRIT

John 16:8
B. Self-Righteousness Ruined – No flesh justified by works
Romans 3:20
C. Savior Required – Conviction drives sinners to grace

Dispensational Note: Conviction leads to faith in Christ, not repentance rituals.

Ephesians 4:30
C. Assurance Supplied – No fear of loss
Romans 8:38–39

COUNSELING SPIRIT
John 16:13; Romans 12:2
The Spirit guides through Scripture, not visions.

A. Truth Directed – Leads into all truth
John 16:13
B. Mind Renewed – Thinking changed by doctrine
Romans 12:2
C. Word Illuminated – Understanding increases
1 Corinthians 2:12
Emphasis: Guidance today is Word-based, not sign-based.
