SOMEDAY YOU WILL TAKE YOUR LAST BREATH
Where Will You Spend Eternity?

1 Corinthians 15:1–4 (KJV)

INTRODUCTION

Every person will dieβ€”but not every person is prepared. Death is not the end; it is a doorway into eternity. The Bible does not leave us guessing where salvation is found. In this present Dispensation of Grace, God has revealed a clear, finished, and sufficient Gospel through the Apostle Paul.

The question is not if you will die, but where you will spend eternity.

β‘  The CERTAINTY of Death
Hebrews 9:27
Ecclesiastes 3:20

Physical death is unavoidable – Every man has an appointment.
Death makes no exceptions – Rich or poor, young or old.
Death ends opportunity – No second chance after death.
Death is certainβ€”salvation must be settled now.

β‘‘ The CONTINUITY of Eternity
Daniel 12:2
Matthew 25:46

The soul does not cease – It continues forever.
Two eternal destinations – Life or condemnation.
Eternity outweighs time – Temporary choices have eternal consequences.
You will live forever somewhere.

β‘’ The CONDEMNATION of Sin
Romans 3:23
Romans 6:23

All are sinners – No moral exemptions.
Sin earns judgment – Death is the wage.
Religion cannot remove guilt – Only blood can.
Sin separatesβ€”only Christ reconciles.

β‘£ The COMPLETENESS of the Cross
1 Corinthians 15:3
Isaiah 53:5

Christ died for our sins – Substitutionary.
Christ paid in full – Nothing left unpaid.
Christ satisfied God – Justice and mercy met.
The cross is not partialβ€”it is perfect.

β‘€ The CONFIRMATION of the Resurrection
1 Corinthians 15:4
Romans 4:25

The tomb is empty – Death defeated.
The resurrection proves acceptance – God said β€œPaid in Full.”
Resurrection guarantees life – For all who believe.
A risen Savior means a secure salvation.

β‘₯ The CLARITY of the Gospel
1 Corinthians 15:1–4
Romans 1:16

The Gospel is defined – Death, burial, resurrection.
The Gospel is sufficient – Nothing added.
The Gospel is powerful – Saves instantly.
Confusion is deadlyβ€”clarity saves.

⑦ The CESSATION of Works
Ephesians 2:8–9
Romans 4:5

Salvation is not earned – No boasting.
Faith excludes works – Trust alone.
Grace cannot be mixed – Or it ceases to be grace.
You don’t help God save youβ€”you believe Him.

⑧ The CONFIDENCE of Assurance

Ephesians 1:13
Romans 8:38–39

Believers are sealed – By the Holy Spirit.
Salvation cannot be lost – God keeps what He saves.
Assurance brings peace – Not fear.
Salvation is secure because God is faithful.

⑨ The CALL of Today
2 Corinthians 6:2

Now is the accepted time – Not tomorrow.
Faith must be personal – No inherited salvation.
Delay is dangerous – Death comes suddenly.
Today is God’s deadline.

CONCLUSION

You will take your last breathβ€”that is settled.
Where you spend eternity depends on what you do with Jesus Christ.
Not church.
Not works.
Not religion.
But the Gospel of the Grace of God.

CALL TO ACTION

Believe that Christ died for your sins
Trust that He was buried and rose again
