“When I see the blood, I will pass over you…” — Exodus 12:13

INTRODUCTION

On the night of the Passover, God did not inspect the people inside the house.
He did not examine their character, conduct, or consistency.

He looked for one thing only — THE BLOOD.
This Old Testament picture finds its fulfillment in Christ, whose blood alone satisfies God’s justice.
In the Dispensation of Grace, salvation is still by blood, not by behavior.

God does not save the worthy — He saves the covered.

God never asked,
“Are they good enough?”
“Are they religious enough?”

Reject works-based religion
Rejoice in grace alone
