SALVATION BY GRACE DOES NOT EXCUSE SIN
Romans 6:1β2; Titus 2:11β12
INTRODUCTION
One of the most common accusations against grace preaching is this:
βIf salvation is by grace alone, then people can live however they want.β
The Apostle Paul faced the same charge. His response was not to water down graceβbut to explain grace correctly. Grace does not excuse sin; grace empowers separation from sin. In the Dispensation of Grace, believers are not motivated by fear of hell or law-keeping, but by identity in Christ.
Romans 6:1β2; Ephesians 2:8β10
