In the Dispensation of Grace, we understand the cross not merely as a moment of suffering but as the central act of Godโ€™s redemptive plan for the Body of Christ. At Calvary, Christ did not die as a martyr, nor as a victim of Rome, but as the sin-bearing substitute, receiving the full wrath of God that rightfully belonged to mankind (2 Cor. 5:21). The cross is the intersection of divine justice and divine love, where the wrath due us was poured out upon Christ, so that grace may be poured out upon us.

The wrath of God was not removedโ€”it was redirected. At the cross, Christ drank the cup of wrath so that in this Dispensation of Grace, we might drink the cup of blessing. Justice fell on Him; grace flows to us. What Israel awaited in prophecy, the Body of Christ receives by mystery. The cross is the cornerstone of all dispensational understanding.
